On the road to work

On way to office, I bumped into Michelle T in parking lot.  Not only is Michelle the BEST stylist in the world, she is a great model and photographer.  Very cool too.  Michelle took this picture of me in my work clothes.

Hat Borsalino felt.  Trucker jacket RRL blanket lined.  Pants, cinched back, RRL from Outlaw collection.  Scarf is cashmere from Barbour.  And the Bowery boots custom ordered from RRL.

Oh yes, shades from Chrome Hearts in Wayfarer shape.  Puts me in a Dylan state of mind.

Spiritual connection on treadmill

On the treadmill tonite after long day.  Wearing Yoji Yamamoto Hoodie, Stussy cap, Tony lama knee socks, and Brooks Addiction running shoes.  The amazing occurence was when I saw the New Yorker last week, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama was on his treadmill.  Note the prayer flags and Thanka on my wall.  I feel so connected to His Holiness.  May he have a long life.

Tweed state of mind

Felt seasonally comfortable and very cool in my 3 pieces of Harris Tweed: jacket, vest, and trousers.  All almost matched, but not quite.  The texture matched but color as a little off.  I like it like that.  All RRL Orchard Street collection.  The great thing is my grandparents settled on Orchard St after arriving on Ellis Island.  Wearing these, I feel my heritage in the vines ( that's 50's hipster talk for clothes.)

Sunday Blues

Sitting at desk.  Doing paper work, and cannot get motivated.  Well, guess I just needed a day to do nothing.

Wearing RRL wool watch cap, a RRL flannel, and RRL hoodie, which is reversable, with camo on inside.  Small mala from Bodhi Tree around neck, as well as Tiffany chain with a Medicine Buddha charm.  T Shirt is Roots, "Save a tree." Got in Canada last year while shooting Camp Rock 2.

Today's most productive activity was excellent Medicine Buddha meditation practice.  But no physical exercise  always makes me feel squirmy.

Sunday Bloodly Sunday.

Leaving for Big Sur on Wednesday.

Halloween 2011

Halloween 2010.  Went as Phil Spector,  but felt my wig was a bit too blonde.  Both Annette's Wig and my wig from Wigs of Studio City.  Really like color of Annette's wig, as it bring out the color in my suit.

Annette's dress, vintage 1960's from Playmates Vintage Clothes, Burbank.  Her glasses, Lindergs from Optmetrics, Beverly hills.

My glasses, antique frames, 1940's from Oliver Peeples.  Purchased in 1980, just before that crazy man, Mark Chapman took John Lennon away from us forever.

My gold front tooth, custom made by Peter Nissler, DDS, 2003.  18 kt gold with small diamond inlay.

My suit is custom made, hand tailored from Ben Sherman of Saville.  3 piece.  The flashy silk lining inside jacket matches back of waistcoat.   Purchased  Summer 2010, when my daughter and I visited London to see Nick J in Le Mis. .  We stopped by 3 Saville Row,  home of Apple (the Beatles company), then walked across street, and we found the suit.  Sammy was so excited with find. Unbelievable tailoring and fit, and the maroon gives me dressed up Buddhist spiritual vibe.  But wearing this suit, I also feel like an early Beatle,  a member of the Clash from the video London Calling, or a Mod  from Quadrophenia.  Suit is amazingly versatile for feeling.  Several inner feelings all at once.   Will be wearing for Christmas holiday parties.

Shoes I am wearing with suit are Church's, Shanghai 1929 .  They are hand made, and reproductions of a Church shoe originally created in 1929 for British Colonies.  Very comfortable.  Very unique. Very stylin'.

Truly one of my favorite pair.
